Charlene Choi to star in Chapman To's R-rated movie

27 Aug – Singer-actress Charlene Choi, who worked with Chapman To in the upcoming movie, "The Midas Touch", revealed that she will be participating in an R-rated movie to be directed by the actor next year.

Oriental Daily reported that the actress, who made an appearance at a promotional event for her latest collaboration with the comedic actor recently, stated that the role she will be playing in the new movie was tailor-made by Chapman himself. She added that she will be showing some skin this time around.

When asked if it means that she will do nudity, Charlene stated, "I wouldn't actually consider that as nudity. The theme is on controversial issues pertaining to the society."

The actress, who also talked about her wish to win a Best Actress award in the near future, denied that she participated in the Category II film was in hopes of getting nominated for an award.

The actress clarified, "The characters I played in recent years had little to no potential. I hope to be able to grow little by little as an actress and not just do the same thing. Although doing the same thing is safe, it would be meaningless."
