4 Mar – Once the most sought after Hong Kong actress, Cecilia Cheung now expressed her happiness living an ordinary life in Singapore.
Getting up early in the morning, preparing her sons Lucas and Quintus for school, checking their school work and doing her house chores, are among the 'ordinary motherly duties' Cecilia Cheung said she has been enjoying since moving to the country nearly four months ago, reports Lianhe Wanbao.
The 33-year-old actress revealed that her two sons have already started school at Stamford American International School in Upper Serangoon Road since last month.
"I wake up at 5.30am, prepare their breakfast, send them to school, take them out to lunch, check their school work, do my house chores, practically everything mothers do," said the actress, who is still sorting out the issues with her maids' work permits.
"I have made a lot of new friends here and they have been taking good care of me. Even my sons are making new friends. I am enjoying my life here more and more each day."
However, Cecilia assured that she has not yet retired from showbiz despite the fact that she has been inactive since last year.
The actress, who is still under the New Asia Entertainment Group banner, said that she will make an acting comeback when she finds the right script. But for the time being, Cecilia enjoys spending her free time doing voluntary work at Willing Hearts, a welfare organisation that helps the elderly folks.
Meanwhile, in regards to rumours of romance with Leo, a young British engineer based in the country, Cecilia denied it, though smilingly added that she would welcome anybody who wants to try their luck!
