New 'Star Wars: Rise Of Skywalker’ Stormtroopers debut at D23 Expo
There has been a lot of news for Star Wars fans to devour and get their heads around from this weekend’s D23 Expo.
Not only was there the trailer for The Mandalorian and the confirmation of an Obi-Wan Kenobi series on Friday, both of which will debut on Disney +, but on Saturday a new poster for Star Wars: The Rise Of Skywalker was released, while attendees at the event also got a glimpse at the latest trailer for the imminent blockbuster.
Lucasfilm didn’t stop there, though. Because at the studio’s Evolution Of The Stormtrooper exhibit on the convention center show-floor they also gave fans a look at the new Stormtroopers that will feature in Star Wars: The Rise Of Skywalker, who are called Sith Troopers and First Order Jet Troopers.
Here’s an image of the Sith Trooper for Star Wars fans to instantly drool over.
Designed by Michael Kaplan, the caption for the costume also provided a brief description of Star Wars: The Rise Of Skywalker’s Sith Trooper.
“In its ultimate push towards galactic conquest, the First Order readies an army of elite soldiers that draw inspiration and power from a dark and ancient legacy.”

Once again designed by Kaplan, the caption for the First Order Jet Trooper read, “Specialised Stormtroopers of the First Order, jet troopers soar into battle equipped with agile rocket packs.”
