California Dream is the latest addition to the Louis Vuitton Cologne Perfume collection. Master Perfumer Jacques Cavallier Belletrud seeks to capture the Californian sunset with notes of Mandarin, Ambrette and Benzoinm prolonging the happiness of a Summer season.

Louis Vuitton collaborates with artist Alex Israel, who also previously dressed the house’s perfumes Sun Song, Cactus Garden and Afternoon Swim in his emblematic works. His signature motif, “Sky Backdrop”, now adorns the packaging of the new perfume California Dream and also graces the glass perfume bottle itself, rendered subtly iridescent in a palette of transparent pink evaporating into twilight blue.

The Louis Vuitton California Dream Cologne Perfume will be available on the Louis Vuitton Webstore and retails for S$380.

Hermès introduces L'Ombre Des Merveilles, a new perfume as part of the house’s fragrance line.

In-house perfumer Christine Sagel builds on the hesperidia of Eau des Merveilles, another loved product by fans, by blending three raw ingredients: the night-toned tonka bean, black tea and incense.

The bottle is created by Serge Mansau, using the illusion of a ‘rocking bottle’ – flat on one side and rounded on the other – that resembles a magnifying glass. The spray nozzle is engraved with the Hermès saddle nail seal, giving it a luxurious touch.

The perfume retails as follow: Eau de Parfum 30ml for S$113, 50ml for S$174 and 100ml for S$249.

L'Ombre Des Merveilles is available at all Hermès boutiques and online.
