A brand new image of Daniel Craig as James Bond in No Time To Die has been released. But while most cinephiles were delighted to get a look at the super-spy, others were a little perplexed by his new attire.

First of all, though, you can take a peek at Daniel Craig rocking a pair of braces in the image below, which comes from Empire Magazine.

But while this image should have provoked questions over why Bond is in a warehouse, who he has been fighting, and what exactly is he looking at, the main talking point after the release of the image was all about his clothes.

Not only because he isn’t in the suit and bow tie that we’re accustomed to seeing him in, but because all he has on is a very dirty long sleeved white top, the aforementioned braces, and then a prominent holster for his weapon. Of course, his watch is also rather prominent in the image, as we all know how much James Bond likes to show-off his latest timepiece.

The image immediately provoked quite a few quips online, with one user even comparing Bond’s new look to that of a silent movie icon.

Meanwhile, another compared 007 to a farmer …

And one even suggested he just been done a shift down the pit …

Of course we’ll finally get to see exactly why Bond is dressed in this fashion when No Time To Die is released in the spring of next year.

As well as being Daniel Craig’s fifth and final outing as James Bond, No Time To Die also sees the return of Ralph Fiennes, Naomie Harris, Lea Seydoux, Ben Whishaw and Jeffrey Wright, while Ana De Armas, Lashana Lynch and Rami Malek will each make their 007 debuts, too.

We’ll get to see what they can muster up under director Cary Fukunaga when No Time To Die is released on April 3, 2020.
