Netflix UK announces the films and TV coming in August 2020

With cinemas not back to full strength, streaming services are doing their absolute best to fill the gap left in the absence of blockbuster season. This August on Netflix will bring lots of great entertainment to enjoy.

The streamer has another array of catalogue titles — including some classic movies — and originals on the way. Some highlights on the Originals front include new superhuman thriller Project Power starring Jamie Foxx and Joseph Gordon-Levitt, and Hoops a new animated series featuring the voice of Jake Johnson.

Today it announced just some of the film you can expect to see added to the streaming service in August.
