29 Jan – Neelofa recently assured that everything is fine between her and fiancé, PU Riz following the previous issue that sparked controversies and resulting in one netizen nearly being sued for slander.

The former "MeleTOP" host, who spoke to the media about her current status with the celebrity preacher during the launch of her new Islamic lifestyle app The Noor, stated that they have already discussed their situation and - through reconciliatory process - have since mended their relationship.

"Our relationship is fine and very positive. We've had a lot of communications. What happened before was nothing but a misunderstanding. The baseless rumours had worsened things, but we're doing fine since then," she said.

Neelofa also added that she will be announcing the date of their upcoming wedding soon.

"There has been a lot of obstacles due to the pandemic. We had contacted several parties to inquire about the suitability of holding a wedding at this time, but everything is still unclear because of the situation. So it's been difficult to share our plans with the public," she said.

Previously, it was reported that Neelofa and PU Riz, real name Haris Ismail, had planned to tie the knot in March.

In related news, Neelofa revealed that the new Islamic lifestyle app The Noor will be offering several features that include prayer time, qiblah, and Quranic translations in five languages including Mandarin and Tamil.
