'I'd follow Fast & Furious to space' says 'Dark Crystal' series star Nathalie Emmanuel (exclusive)
Nathalie Emmanuel will continue to go along for the ride with the Fast & Furious series, even if it means strapping herself into a space shuttle.
The Essex-born star arrived in the franchise as computer hacker Ramsey in 2015’s Fast & Furious 7 and reprised the role in Fast & Furious 8.
The films have increasingly dialled up the physics-defying stunts and screenwriter Chris Morgan has said he is definitely willing to take the franchise off Earth and into the great beyond.
If Morgan does decide to take the franchise interstellar, Emmanuel is more than happy to put on a spacesuit.

“Hell yeah,” she tells Yahoo Movies UK, when asked if she’d go to space with the Fast franchise.
She adds: “What we have learned as an audience for Fast & Furious is just to expect the unexpected and don't underestimate anything.
“If it can be done, they'll do it. I am definitely a fan as well as being a part of it. I'm also really excited to see where they keep going.“
Emmanuel says her time working on big franchises, including as Missandei on Game of Thrones, means she has no trouble keeping secrets from fans, no matter how many times they ask.

She says: “I don't tell big plot points because I think it's a shame to ruin it for fans and for even just people in my life. I'm very cautious about what I talk about.
“But when it's a specific thing, like whether Jon Snow was alive or dead, that year was just the worst.
“I was so happy when that episode aired because I was so sick of being asked about it.”
Emmanuel is promoting her role as Gelfling animal carer Deet in Netflix series The Dark Crystal: Age of Resistance, which is a prequel to Jim Henson’s 1982 classic film.

Deet is one of a group of Gelflings who rise up against the bird-like Skeksis when they uncover a dark secret.
The Dark Crystal: Age of Resistance will be available on Netflix from 30 August and the Into Thra exhibition of the show’s art is open from 23 August until 6 September at the BFI Southbank in London.
