Stranger Things star Natalia Dyer has a season 3 wishlist, just like you. Only hers don't have anything to do with Demo-dogs.

“I’d love to work with the kids more,” Dyer, whose recent scenes have primarily paired her with Charlie Heaton (Jonathan Byers) and Joe Keery (Steve Harrington) as part of Nancy’s still-lingering love triangle, tells ELLE.com. “David Harbour is amazing," she says. (We know.) "I’d love to keep working with Brett Gelman and, of course, Winona [Ryder]!”

“Honestly, because of the ensemble nature and the way that our storylines work, it’s like you could mix anybody with anybody, and that’s such an interesting chemistry of 'How do these two characters interact,' so I’m super curious about all of the people,” she added.

If were up to Dyer, what would Nancy’s future hold? Unsurprisingly, the actress would like to see her once self-involved character kicking butt and taking names.

“I hope Nancy goes in this direction a little bit more: a little more action,” she says. “It’s not as storyline heavy, but [something along the lines of] action heroes, strong women, being the James Bond or being the superhero. I don’t think we have enough of those images in our mind. I think that would be cool.”

Dyer admits she can't offer up any season 3 spoilers, and couldn't even if she wanted to; the show’s producers are still cooking up storylines, and the cast is kept out of the loop until much closer to production.

“It’s always a bit of mystery for us because we don’t know - they’re writing it for so long that we really don’t hear much about it until we’re about to start,” she explains. “It’s always about a year later, so [just thinking] about what’s gone on this year, like ‘Where are we?’ Just seeing how the characters have grown in the meantime.... I get really excited about that story and where everyone’s been.”

She also admits that Nancy is never very far from her mind in between seasons. “It’s kind of hard to avoid her sometimes! People keep bringing her up,” Dyer laughs. "[But] with any character there’s part of you in there. There’s a weird connection, but they are separate from you as well. I’m very different from Nancy, but very similar in some ways. So I find myself getting more curious than anything. I do like to breathe in between and do other things, be me, and then it’s fun to get back in there. It’s stepping into some very familiar shoes.”
