One of the best things about living in a multicultural and multi-ethnic country is the delicious things that happen when food cultures meet and overlap. The opening of Let’s Pretzel at the Geylang Bazaar is proof of that.
On the menu are pretzel flavours Ondeh Ondeh, Pepperoni and Cheese, Cookies N Cream, Strawberry Cheesecake, and Sour Cream N Chips.
You should also try the Lemonade Slushie with a choice of Strawberry or Mango boba.
The entire menu is priced at 1 for S$6 or 4 for S$21, with the exception of the mini Pretzel Bites which cost S$7. The Pretzel balls are easy to eat on-the-go and contain more pretzel, sauce and toppings!
Let’s Pretzel is the brainchild of Regine, the 25-year-old force behind the guilty pleasure we know as Nasty Cookie.
Her Let’s Pretzel stall may work like a well-oiled machine when you visit it today but behind it is a whirlwind of activity built on a boatload of planning and hard work. Regine only managed to secure the booth the day before the Bazaar launched, which meant that she missed out on most of the publicity that comes with it.
Regine leads her all-female team from the front, helming the stall from afternoon to late night, and then stays to help with the washing up. In the mornings, she is back at Nasty Cookie HQ to manage that side of her business.
She’ll appreciate a ‘Hi!’ so head over when you visit the Geylang Bazaar. The booth will be at the bazaar till 2 May 2022.
