Nasi padang prices in Singapore at places of different "SES"

A Malaysian man who came to Singapore recently received a shock when his bill for nasi padang (steamed rice with various dishes) came up to $20.

Granted, he was eating at the food court in ION Orchard.

We all know that the price of food can vary greatly depending on where you choose to get your food, with places of greater "SES" (Socio-Economic Status, thanks for enlightening us, MarketAsia Books) generally costing more than our beloved coffeeshops and hawker centres.
