NASA to open International Space Station to tourists
The International Space Station could get its first tourist pin coming up in 2020 when NASA opens it up to tourists visiting outer space, as well as other commercial businesses. NASA said in a statement that it will create 14 commercial facilities, in partnership with 11 companies, to aid research and development projects.
Lang Lang marries fellow pianist Gina Alice Redlinger
Possibly the most famous pianist to come out of China, Lang Lang, announced recently that he and fellow pianist Gina Alice Redlinger are now married. The 36-year-old musician shared photos on Weibo of his German-Korean wife. Their wedding in France was attended by other celebrities and musicians like Jay Chou, Hannah Quinlivan and John Legend.

Egypt asks UK to halt Tutankhamun sculpture
The Egyptian government has requested that the UK government step in to stop the sale of an ancient sculpture representing King Tutankhamun’s head and have it instead, be returned to Egypt. The planned sale by famous auction house Christie’s is due to happen on July 4. The 3,000 year old sculpture is currently expected to fetch over £4 million.
On top of the already anticipated Dune reboot expected to premiere in November next year, it is now also confirmed that there will be a TV-series, Dune: The Sisterhood. The TV series will coexist with the movie set for the big screen, and will be based on the book and same universe as Frank Herbert’s Dune series. As the title suggests, it will follow a mysterious order of women known as the Bene Gesserit.
