Just when you think Erin and Ben Napier have done it all—renovating, parenting, and, yes, the occasional singing—the Home Town stars add yet another item to their ever-growing list of endeavors. On Friday, the HGTV stars announced that they'd be adding shippable, custom countertops to their inventory at both Laurel Mercantile and Scotsman Co. For Erin, the latest venture is finally scratching an itch that was a dozen years in the making.

"Way back in 2011 when we bought our house, we did an $8k renovation on our kitchen and we drove 6 hours to buy affordable solid maple butcher block slabs for the countertops," she wrote on Instagram. Suffice to say that the countertops were a hit, so Ben made his own with clamps and glue in his woodshop for renovations done during the first two seasons.

Eventually, the power couple turned Ben's side hustle into a full-blown business. "Then we bought a shuttered factory that had been hit by a tornado and turned it into a state-of-the-art butcher block manufacturing facility," Erin continued in her post. Now, the designing duo offers custom countertops (and stock-size slabs) in 10 wood species, three grain styles, four edge styles, and two finishes. Best of all, they'll ship the countertops directly to your home. "So what I’m saying is: you don’t have to drive six hours," Erin concluded. "We will make your countertops just for you then ship them to you."

As expected, fans are fully onboard with this new venture. For many, they're thrilled that the Napiers are filling a gap in the market and celebrating craftsmanship. "This is awesome and that video says it all," one person wrote. "Thank you for bringing skilled trades and craftsmanship back." "Bravo for seeing a need and the solution to fix it," another said.
Meanwhile, other fans are just excited to get a slice of that Home Town energy in their own spaces. "Yes please," one happy fan commented. " Can you just come here and build my whole kitchen?" Another simply wrote, "Coming soon to a kitchen near meeeeee!!"

Though the Napiers are making custom countertops more accessible, they do recommend you hire a professional to install them. And as for price? Well, it depends on what you order. (The couple's standard countertops start at around $300, so you can expect customized ones will be more expensive.) But no matter how you cut it, this new launch is *chef's kiss*.
