Naomi Campbell has issued a warning about the ongoing coronavirus pandemic in a new teaser for her upcoming YouTube video.
The supermodel hit headlines when she flew from Los Angeles International Airport (LAX) on Tuesday while wearing a white hazmat suit along with a blue N95 mask and a pair of pink Latex gloves to protect herself from the virus.
When she shared pictures of her outfit on Instagram, she teased that she would be making a video for her YouTube channel about the flight, and on Thursday night, she posted a teaser clip in which she addressed the global health crisis.
"I'm in L.A. I'm flying back home to New York, I'm not gonna lie to you and say I'm not nervous to take this flight but I am," she says to the camera. "The coronavirus is real, it is serious. We are all in the same boat, we are to learn something from this we absolutely are."
The video also featured shots of Naomi putting on her protective outerwear as she prepared to travel across the U.S.
In the caption, she told her followers the full video would be released on Friday.
The 49-year-old's precautionary measures came a day after she took to Instagram to share a heartfelt dedication to those living in her former home of Italy, as the disease spreads throughout the country.
"My beloved ITALY Of which I spent the first 3 years of my early life. I'm with you. Thank you for always embracing me and giving me so much love #wishing speedy recovery," she wrote.
The model previously hit headlines last year when she posted a viral video on her YouTube channel in which she detailed the lengths she goes to in an effort to avoid illnesses while travelling. She revealed she wipes her aeroplane seat down with sanitisers and wears medical masks.
