Nancy Wu and Ruco Chan to star in iQiyi-TVB project
27 Aug - Fans of Chor Au Kuen and Tiu Lan will be happy to know that the two stars who played the roles will have one other project together for the upcoming year.
As reported on Oriental Daily, Ruco Chan and Nancy Wu will be working together in the upcoming TVB-iQiyi collaborative project, "At the Threshold of a New Era", which is either a remake or a sequel to the original millennial drama, starring Gallen Lo, Sunny Chan, and Roger Kwok.
While the original drama revolved around three entrepreneurs working together and the vendetta between two families, the new version will highlight the changes of Hong Kong's economic industries since its handover to China in 1997.
The drama will also celebrate the 20th year of Hong Kong's transfer of sovereignty to China.
In addition to Ruco and Nancy, the drama will also star Bosco Wong and Joey Meng.
This is the second upcoming project between the two stars following "A Fist Within Four Walls". Ruco and Nancy will also star in another Jazz Boon's drama, "The Alliance", alongside veteran actress Nina Paw.
