Nancy Wu is now under Shaw Brothers management
16 Nov – After much speculations, Nancy Wu recently revealed that she is now under the management of Shaw Brothers.
The actress shared the news on Instagram on 14 November with a photo of the sea, writing, "I am grateful to all the good place and good people I have went and met along the way, accompanying me as I welcome a new chapter. Starting today I officially begin my collaboration with Shaw Brothers International Film Company!"
"Thank you Sister Bar and Ben Chan for bringing me to TVB management! Thank you Ms. Lok and the late Sister Pui Wai for their advice, support and opportunities over the years!" she added.
Nancy also did not forget to thank her colleagues at TVB's artiste department for taking care of her for the past 18 years, saying that they were with her throughout the highs and lows of her career.
"In the coming year, we will find other ways to present more work to the audience and continue showing more," she added.
It was previously rumoured that Nancy would not be renewing her contract with TVB after it expires, with sources claiming that she might be signing with Louis Koo's company instead.
