Nancy Wu laments about being cyberbullied

16 Oct - Nancy Wu recently wrote a long post on her Instagram, which seemed to be a response to some online comments about her.

As reported on Mingpao, on 10 October the actress wrote on Instagram, "I like to travel and look at the world. Every time I look at how big the sky is, it really made me realise how big the world is, and how small people are. So I just live in the moment - be happy, work hard, be yourself and do what you want to do. Everything else is up to Him."

"Some things need no explanation. But to be a public figure, everything is subjected to public comments. I can't control what people say. But do you really want every single thing to be thorough? There's a bottom line for everything," she said.

Nancy added that she doesn't understand why some people feel the need to make irrelevant ideas about her and constantly hurt people with their words.

In the end, she thanked her fans for all of their support and wished them a happy life.

Although Nancy hasn't mentioned what caused her to write such a message, many speculated that it has something to do with her previous post about Joel Chan.

The actress, who is one of the members of Joel's marathon group called the Crazy Runners, recently shared a photo from his birthday party, and wrote, "The husband is always happy!", which has sparked criticism from netizens due to the fact that Joel is currently in a relationship.

On the other hand, Joel said that he is not clear about the whole issue, and called it "a boring gossip".

"The Crazy Runners came to celebrate my birthday, and we had fun. It's that simple," he said.
