Nancy Wu: I haven't found the right man

25 Apr – TVB actress Nancy Wu recently went on a radio show, where she spoke candidly about relationship and the two famous men who were linked to her in the past.

As reported on Mingpao, the 36-year-old actress, who didn't hesitate to discuss her personal life during the interview, admitted on the show that her mother has started to worry about her personal life now that she is entering her late 30s.

"My mum never asked me anything before. But in the past couple of years, she will have questions whenever there was an opportunity to do so. I told her "Mum, it's all about the timing. When it is not yet fated for you, it won't appear. There is no need to rush it," she said.

The actress, however, understands her mother's worries, that the latter only wants her to find someone suitable to take care of her and to build a family together.

"She knows that I work very hard, but she also thinks I have to think about my emotional needs. And indeed, I have been busier for the past few years. I have yet to have such fate," she said.

When asked of her conditions when it comes to choosing her spouse, Nancy stated that many of her friends said that she admires a talented man.

"I do admire certain qualities in a man. Everyone likes a good guy. I am not saying that he must be from showbiz or non-showbiz. The most important thing is compatibility," she said.

Nancy also had no issues discussing about the two most famous men linked to her - Kenneth Ma and Ruco Chan.

Regarding Kenneth, Nancy stated that while they were dating in the past, both she and the actor eventually realised that they were not compatible with each other, and were better off being good friends.

She stated, "Sometimes love does not mean you must be together."

As for Ruco, Nancy said that she admires the actor's passion in his work, which is why they made a great onscreen partnership on "A Fist Within Four Walls" and "Unholy Alliance".

"He is very fond of acting, so during filming, we would talk a lot about our experience in acting," she said.
