Nancy Wu elated with first film's success
21 Aug – It seems that fortune is on Nancy Wu's side as it was revealed that her movie debut, "Men on the Dragon" has been a great success.
As reported on Singtao, the actress, who attended the audience appreciation event for the movie alongside co-stars like Francis Ng and Jennifer Yu recently, stated that she never expected the movie will get the response it has received when she was first approached for the project.
"I took the project based on the script and the storyline. I thought it was exciting. I felt that the story about these old men's lives are relatable to the Hong Kong people. The dialogue was great as well," she said.
When asked if she and Francis Ng made the best team since their drama "Triumph in the Skies" and aforementioned movie were both successful, Nancy stated that she would always be happy to be working with Francis again in the future.
The actress also admitted that the success of the movie will not let her be complacent.
"I want to continue taking chances. But I do feel that I am really lucky [with this one]. It's a good start," she said.
