Nancy Sit wears black to mourn Tam Ping Man

14 Sep – Nancy Sit was deeply affected by the death of Tam Ping Man that she decided to wear all black to her show, "Cantopop at 50".

As reported on Mingpao, the veteran singer who spoke to the media prior to the show, shared that she would be giving a speech before the programme started to pay tribute to the Dubbing King, who passed away a few days ago from lung cancer.

"It's hard to accept that he is gone. In the past, he would send us messages whenever he was admitted or discharged from the hospital. His death came so sudden. You have to cherish the people around you," she said.

As for Tam's upcoming wake, which will be held on 21 September, Nancy stated that she will definitely go to say her farewell.

"His daughter invited me to come and to give a speech about Tam," she added.

Nancy, who previously revealed that Tam would send her text messages almost daily, said that those messages are much more precious now that he is gone.
