Nancy Sit returns as host on "Cantopop at 50"
24 Jan – Nancy Sit recently announced that she is returning as a host to the TVB variety show, "Cantopop at 50".
As reported on Mingpao, the actress shared the good news at the annual dinner of the said programme, saying that she decided to return following an invitation from the producers.
"It has nothing to do with the remuneration. I just want to continue to bring joy to everybody and to provide a singing platform for newcomers," she said.
Nancy was one of the original hosts of the said show, which premiered in 2017. However, after more than 80 episodes, the singer announced that she is leaving the show to prepare for her world tour and accompany her good friend - the late composer Michael Lai, who was still ailing at the time.
She had since been replaced by Bowie Wu, who was joined by Sharon Chan, Kayee Tam, and Fred Cheng.
