7 Dec – Veteran actress Nancy Sit seemed to be more enthusiastic about her son Jackson Shek's upcoming wedding with his partner, Zoe than the couple themselves.
According to Mingpao, the actress, who has been actively involved in the planning, shared that the couple's 55-table banquet plan is partly completed and will be held in June next year at the InterContinental Hotel.
"The hardest thing to do right now is screening guests. I have discussed with my son about having two separate banquets. His friends will attend the other banquet because I have to invite a lot of friends and relatives," she said.
Nancy shared that aside from her radio colleagues, she plans to invite her "Seven Princesses" co-stars like Josephine Siao and Petrina Fung, as well as her peers like Bowie Wu and Kenneth Tsang.
When asked if she would invite Patrick Tse as well and arrange for him to sit with Kenneth Tsang - of whom he had a conflict with two years ago - Nancy responded, "I would love to use this opportunity and have them sit together."
As to whether her ex-husband will be making his appearance at the wedding, Nancy said that he has already discussed with Jackson, and will find a different date to celebrate his son's marriage.
