7 Feb – Despite the severity of the current pandemic, Nancy Sit believes that it is no excuse for her as an artiste not to continue to entertain viewers on television.
As reported on Mingpao, the actress who was in TVB City to host the variety show, "Cantopop at 50", shared that there is a sense of mission among the crew and performers in taping the show during these trying times.
"Everybody is not in a good mood and can't go out in the streets more often right now, so I hope to bring joy and positive energy to them via television," she said.
Asked if the show implemented extra measures to ensure the health and safety of everybody involved, Nancy responded in the positive, adding that it is all thanks to TVB Executive Sandy Yue, who came to the set herself to oversee production.
As to whether her work has been affected by the pandemic, the singer said that she has been using the opportunity to stay home and rest.
"I am not used to sleeping during the day, so I kept watching television while eating. The result is now I have gained a few pounds," she said with a laugh.
