NakeFit Footwear Could Eliminate the Need for Sandals

From Country Living

The biggest trend in footwear this summer isn't actually a shoe at all.

Introducing NakeFit, a hypoallergenic adhesive pad that's designed to stick to the bottoms of your bare feet-and make your summer so much better.

"Imagine a world where you could just jump and run around without worrying about being barefoot," it states in the product's promotional video. "NakeFit is the ultimate way of protecting your feet in every circumstance."

The sticky shoe replacement promises to save your feet from every warm-weather woe, including sharp rocks, hot concrete and sand, slippery surfaces, and dirty floors. When you're done wearing them, you just peel them off and throw them out.

The product's Kickstarter project earned more than 12 times its original goal of $22,696, so people seem eager to try it. Just remember: Podiatrists don't recommend wearing flip-flops, so it's unlikely they'd suggest going nearly barefoot all the time.
