Nadine Lustre still wants to do "The Nurse"

13 Apr – Nadine Lustre is not easily giving up the chance to work with Jun Robles Lana on his new movie, "The Nurse" even though the filmmaker seemed set on moving on to a different actress.

As reported on Rappler, the actress, who spoke about the project recently, shared that she has yet to get the updates on the shooting schedule from her management company, Viva, and that she will wait for the company to make the decision regarding the movie.

"The schedule is very tight, but hopefully I will be able to do it," she said.

Lustre admitted that she won't give it up easily as the thriller project is different from the other movies she have done before.

"But let's see. If it's meant for me, I will get the project," she said.

Lustre was originally slated to do the movie - her first project without James Reid - when it was announced in August last year. However, Lana recently told JaDine fans online that he has no interest to continue with the collaboration with Lustre.

When asked why, the "Die Beautiful" director said that they have been waiting too long for the actress and that it is now time to move on and recast it.
