Nadine Lustre is open to settle with VIVA

5 Nov – Nadine Lustre's legal rep recently stated that the actress is ready for an amicable settlement amid her ongoing legal battle with Viva Artists Agency.

Lawyers Gideon Pena and Eirene Jhone Aguila shared the statement on Twitter on 3 November, which read, "While Nadine is confident about the strength of her legal position, she remains open to amicably settling with Viva and proceeding under terms that are fair and mutually beneficial."

"Like Viva, Nadine looks forward to continuing to provide quality entertainment to audiences both local and across the globe," Peña and Aguila added.

They added that Nadine trusts that Viva will remain true to its mission statement to empower and develop artistes and talents for the betterment of their careers and lives.

It is noted that the actress was sued by Viva last year for allegedly breaching her exclusive contract which was supposed to end in 2029. Following the lawsuit, the Quezon City Regional Trial Court ruled in June that Nadine could not terminate her contract and has to honour her agreement with her agency.
