3 Mar – Myrtle Sarrosa has dismissed the notion that she transferred from ABS-CBN to GMA-7 due to the franchise renewal issue that has befallen the former TV network.

As reported on Inquirer, the actress who spoke to the media recently, stated that it was just a coincidence that she is changing networks, as she had actually been making that plan since October last year.

"It's just that the transition took a while because I wanted to talk to people at ABS-CBN, ask for their opinions and permission," she said.

Sarrosa stated that she still loves and cares for the people she worked with under Star Magic, and that their blessings are important to her.

"I started there and I owe them a lot of what I have now-from being a simple girl in Bacolod to doing television shows and different projects. I didn't want to step on anyone's toes, hurt people's feelings or burn bridges," she added.

On the other hand, when asked about rumours that she will be part of the Kapuso network's upcoming live action remake of "Voltes V", she said nothing has been set in stone just yet, but that it would be a dream project for her as she has always been a super fan of the said animated series.
