Myolie Wu wins Influential Star award in Shanghai
22 Mar – Hong Kong actress Myolie Wu has won Influential Star of the Year award at the 2018 China Quality Television Drama Festival.
As reported on Mingpao, the actress who won the award for her performance in the drama, "Nothing Gold Can Stay", recently appeared at the event in Shanghai in a blue dressy pantsuit - the first public appearance in China since giving birth to son Brendan.
Said Myolie, she is happy with the acknowledgment and the good reviews that the drama received when it aired last year. She also thanked lead stars Betty Sun Li and Peter Ho, as well as the team behind the said drama for their hard work and cooperation.
The actress also expressed hopes that she would be given more diverse roles in the future so that she could challenge herself as an actress.
On the other hand, the actress revealed that the new branch of her bridal boutique KEVOLIE in Shanghai will open this April.
