21 Aug – Fans of both Myolie Wu and Linda Chung were more than excited after the two former TVB actresses decided to reunite for a singing session on social media.
As reported on Mingpao, the two stars recently shared videos of themselves singing karaoke together, with Linda posting a video of them performing a duet of Myolie's "Fortunately", while Myolie uploaded a video of them performing Linda's "Swear".
Linda wrote, "It was a beautiful day spending some quality time with a dear friend I've met back in 2006. We were newbies in the music industry. Her first song was ["Fortunately"] while mine was ["Swear"] in the album ["Lady in Red"]. ["Fortunately"] is my favourite song out of the entire album by the way. After, in 2008 we really became singers and then collaborated in [" House of Harmony and Vengeance"] in 2011, which kickstarted our friendship."
"It feels really cool for me to be in HK again singing my good friend's song with her. Memories flow and I'm thankful for the relationship we still have," she added.
It is noted that the actress had returned to Hong Kong since last month to film her new drama, "Children's Hospital", which had postponed its production due to the rising cases of COVID-19.
On the other hand, Myolie wrote, "I'm so glad that ["House of Harmony and Vengeance"] brought us together, you are such a sweet, loving, kind-hearted girl, you deserve everything you have now. Now that we are older and past our crazy working hours back in the days, and you living half way across the world, we still got to sing our first songs together. It's definitely a moment to remember and we would like to share them with our fans, hope you like them as much as we do."
