Myolie Wu leaves HMV Digital China after three years

11 Oct – Three years after signing with Stephen Shiu Jr.'s company HMV Digital China, Myolie Wu recently revealed that she has now left the company.

As reported on On CC, the actress, who announced the news in a joint-statement with the company, shared that the reason why she left the company is because of the development in both her family life and career.

She also dismissed the idea that HMV has failed to give her a lot of movie projects while she was signed to them.

"[Stephen] has always been supportive of me. In fact, the company always has film and drama projects, but I just felt that they were not suitable for me, so I never took the offers," she said.

Despite going her separate ways, Myolie stressed that she would have no issues working with HMV again in the future.

The departure was not the only change Myolie has done since marrying businessman Philip Lee and giving birth to son Brendan. Earlier this year, the former TVB actress left her position at her bridal boutique KEVOLIE to spend more time with her son.
