Coachtopia unveils student scholarship winners' bag designs
After 15 students received grants through Coach's Dream It Real x CFDA Design Scholarship Award for the 2022-2023 school year, they participated in a challenge to transform Coach's scrap materials into upcycled Coachtopia designs. Angel Pan and Vivian Luo won, and their bag were produced. They're available for purchase now, with prices ranging from $350 to $495. {Fashionista inbox}

Good American partners with Fashion Scholarship Fund to provide two $10,000 grants
Good American is partnering with the Fashion Scholarship Fund (FSF) to offer $10,000 each and mentorship to two emerging designers. FSF class of 2022 and 2023 scholars can submit a digital portfolio of "eight to 10 size-inclusive denim pieces" for the chance to produce their designs with Good American. {Fashionista inbox}

Could this online start-up shake up the off-price ecosystem?
TJX, which owns T.J. Maxx and Marshalls, has dominated the off-price retail market, but a Los Angeles-based start-up called Ghost — an invitation-only online marketplace links sellers and buyers of surplus inventory — is looking to shake things up. Co-Founder and Co-Chief Executive Josh Kaplan told Business of Fashion's Marc Bain that the user experience is more like Airbnb than eBay, since buyers have a curated dashboard.
