Mui Siu Ching looks forward to enjoying retirement
27 Feb – With "Forensic Heroes IV" being her last TVB drama, producer Mui Siu Ching admitted that she is looking forward to her retirement very much.
As reported on HKET, the TVB producer who is known for many hit shows such as "Beyond the Realm of Conscience" and "The Legendary Ranger", stated that she plans to enjoy her life and spending time with her grandchildren now that she is no longer constrained by the hectic schedule.
"In the past, I would watch television for the sake of work. But now I can finally choose whatever I want to watch for my own entertainment. The most important thing right now is to enjoy the slow pace of life," she said.
Mui also stated that being a producer was such a busy job that she would have to take sleeping pills in the past, and that her retirement would mean that she can sleep all she wants until it's time to wake up.
She then added light-heartedly that she can enjoy the rain again.
"I used to love the rain when I was young. But when I became a producer, I am most worried about the rain whenever I am filming something. It wasn't fun at all. But now, I can walk in the rain under my umbrella again in the years to come," she added.
