Mr.'s Dash to welcome his first baby
21 Jun – Mr.'s bassist Dash (real name Desmond Tam), recently announced that he is soon to be a father.
As reported on Mingpao, the 37-year-old announced the good news on Father's Day by sharing a photo of his baby's ultrasound, writing, "Wishing Mr. Dash's Father's Day in 2019 will be happier!"
Speaking to the media about his unborn child recently, Dash revealed that partner Joana Dillon is currently six months pregnant and that they are expecting the baby to be born in September.
"As for the baby's gender, I will share it with you later," he said.
Dash also revealed that he has already proposed to Joana last year and completed the registration outside Hong Kong.
"I didn't expect that we would be getting such a good news at the start of the year. The wedding will be held after the baby's birth, when Joana is fully recovered. Maybe next year. I don't want to be hasty," he said.
Dash said though he will be busy preparing for his band's tenth anniversary show, he will make sure to spend a lot of time taking care of his new family as well.
Dash is only the third member of Mr. to become a father, following lead singer Alan and drummer Tom.
