Whether you like it or not, Christmas is fast approaching. The Oxford Street lights have been switched on, Wham is already on repeat in leading department stores and we’ve finally chosen this year’s advent calendar.

But if that isn’t enough to convince self-confessed Scrooges across the nation that the big day will soon be upon us, a festive sandwich is sure to do the trick.

Morrisons has launched a Christmas dinner sandwich wrapped in a Yorkshire pudding and all of our festive wishes have already been answered in one fell (seriously mouth-watering) swoop.

Yes, the budget supermarket is set to change your lunch game with a wrap packed full of turkey, stuffing, spinach and cranberry sauce.

On the brilliant invention, Morrisons sandwich expert, Ben White, said: “Everyone loves Yorkshire pudding and everyone loves Christmas dinner, so we are combining the two to create a modern classic. We’re looking forward to hearing what customers think but we hope that they’ll love it!”

For those of you already hungry for lunch, you’ll be pleased to learn that the £3 sandwich launched yesterday and is available as part of the supermarket’s meal deal across the UK.
