Morissette Amon to perform at Asia Song Festival 2017

The singer is Philippine's representative to the festival, to be held in Busan this September

18 Aug - Singer Morissette Amon has been selected to represent the Philippines in the upcoming Asia Song Festival 2017.

As reported on ABS-CBN, the news was announced by the singer herself who shared on Instagram, "Thrilled to share with all of you that I will be representing [the Philippines] for [Asia Song Festival2017] next month in Korea! Thank You Lord! Let's do this!"

The singer, who is set to fly to Busan for the festival, will join other performers including Korean stars Taeyeon, EXO, MAMAMOO, and Dynamic Duo. Other Asian singers include Indonesia's MOCCA and Shae, Singapore's MICapella, and Japan's Mika Nakashima.

The Asia Song Festival will be held from 22 to 24 September. The theme this year is "Asia is One".
