More TVB dramas halt filming due to resurgence in COVID cases

6 Aug – With the pandemic getting serious again in Hong Kong, more and more TVB dramas have been temporary halted for precaution.

As reported on Mingpao, TVB producer Joe Chan who is currently helming the new series, "Seven Princesses", revealed that the drama has stopped filming since 29 July and will only resume a week later to strengthen safety measure on the set.

 

"Everybody's health is the most important right now," he added.

Aside from the said drama, another show, "Strike Back at Life" starring Shaun Tam and Gloria Tang has also halted filming, while "Come Home Love - Lo and Behold" will continue filming as usual as it revolves around its indoor location.

TVB stated that in response to the pandemic and the latest government regulations, all shooting locations will be adjusted and prevention measures strengthened.
