16 Aug – More performers are postponing their shows in Hong Kong following the mass protest that has recently moved to the Hong Kong International Airport.
As reported on Mingpao, following the postponement of Della Wu's show and Lay Zhang cancelling his upcoming concert in the city, Korean singer Kang Daniel, who was scheduled to perform at the AsiaWorld-Expo on 18 August, has also postponed his show.
The organiser announced that the decision was made not only due to the unpredictable factors of Hong Kong's current social environment, but also for the sake of its artiste's safety and the security of concertgoers.
Hong Kong singers Angela Hui and Ken Hung have also postponed their 17 and 18 August concerts at the Macpherson Stadium in Mongkok, and announced the refund arrangement soon after.
