Mobile Legends: Bang Bang (MLBB) will be getting an exclusive collaboration with popular sci-fi movie franchise Star Wars, MLBB developer Moonton announced on the game's official Facebook page on Tuesday (4 May).

The announcement showed a teaser image which prominently features the silhouettes of the Sith Lord Darth Vader and Jedi Master Yoda, two of the most iconic characters from the Star Wars franchise, while the silhouettes of MLBB heroes Argus and Cyclops can be seen below them.

From the teaser image, it seems the collaboration will entail exclusive Star Wars-themed skins for Argus and Cyclops, with Argus taking on the appearance of Darth Vader while Cyclops takes on that of Yoda.

If this new collaboration with Star Wars follows how previous MLBB collaborations were handled, fans of both MLBB and Star Wars can also expect themed in-game events to go along with the hero skins that have already been revealed.

More information about MLBB's upcoming collaboration with Star Wars is expected to be released soon.

The collaboration's announcement on 4 May notably coincided with what is considered to be 'Star Wars Day' by fans of the franchise, which sprang from the pun "May the Fourth be with you" — a twist on the iconic saying "May the Force be with you" that has been quoted repeatedly throughout the series.

Moonton also noted that the collaboration will only be available in the Philippines, Indonesia, Malaysia, Thailand, Singapore, Vietnam, Myanmar, Cambodia, Brunei, Laos, East Timor, and Japan.

MLBB is no stranger to exclusive collaborations with other popular video games, media, or figures, with the game's most recent collaboration happening last month as legendary Filipino boxer Manny Pacquiao lent his likeness to the MLBB hero Paquito.

MLBB also collaborated with SNK fighting game The King of Fighters back in 2019, with six MLBB heroes gaining the likenesses of characters from the fighting game through exclusive skins.
