Moon Lee finally fulfils dream to win at the Golden Bell Awards

29 Sep – 24-year-old Moon Lee is over the moon to be honoured as the Best Newcomer at the 55th Golden Bell Awards.

As reported on Epoch Times, the actress who spoke to the media after accepting the award for her role in Netflix's "The Victim's Game", stated that she had watched the awards for many times in the past that she had always dreamed of winning one.

"Since I was shortlisted for the awards, I felt like I have been running a marathon. As soon as I accepted the award, it felt like the marathon had stopped. What I want to do most right now is to remove my make-up and have something to eat," she said.

When asked why she thanked her grandmother on stage, Moon laughed and said that her mother actually told her to mention her grandmother first.

"I jokingly told her that I will thank grandma and not her. Unexpectedly, my mind went completely blank when I was on stage that I actually forgot to thank my mother!" she said.

As to what kind of project she would like to do in the future, the actress stated that she would love to play an innocent character - as such a role is challenging as audience rarely resonates with them.
