Moon Lau saddened by Haruma Miura's death

24 Jul – Although she has rarely seen the work of Japanese actor Haruma Miura, Moon Lau is still saddened by the news of his death.

As reported on Mingpao, the actress who spoke to the media on the set of her new drama, "Seven Princesses" recently, stated that she is sorry that the other party committed suicide at such a young age, and that it made her reflect and cherish herself and the people around her.

"Being an artiste is really stressful. The way to reduce that is to talk to others. The people around you will love you and care about you. I used to be someone who just wants to share happy things. But the older I get, the better I am at speaking out my concern and worries," she said.

Moon added that expressing one's thoughts is a responsibility one has to oneself, and that not doing so is very concerning.

Asked if she does this with rumoured boyfriend Adrian Chau, Moon stated that she usually pours her heart out to good friend Mandy Wong, aside from her own parents.

"Koizura" star Haruma Miura was unresponsive after being found hanging in his closet by his manager on 18 July 2020, and was pronounced dead at the hospital soon after. Police believe Miura committed suicide and an apparent suicide note was found in his room.

He was 30.
