Model Iskra Lawrence is expecting her first child.
The 29-year-old announced the exciting news on Instagram on Tuesday, posing for a sweet picture showing her boyfriend, Philip Payne, cradling her growing bump.
"It's not just the two of us anymore, we're soon to be a family of three," she shared, telling her 4.5 million followers that she is 17 weeks and three days pregnant. "I've never been more excited to meet anyone, and Philip and I are in love with our mini baby P bump. "Can't believe I'm finally telling the whole damn world our magical news sending you all lots of love."
Iskra revealed later in the caption that she is working with U.S. at-home pregnancy test company First Response and launched a competition for a couple to win $10,000 (£7,700) worth of fertility treatment.
"I'm well aware of the struggles many women face with infertility and how lucky I am. That is why I'll be giving away $10,000 to help and support one of you in your pregnancy journey (more deets coming soon)," the British model continued. "Thank you so much #firstresponsepregnancy for supporting me and all of the work you do to support couples struggling to conceive. It's something very close to my heart with many of my best friends and family members experiencing these challenges."
However, Iskra came under fire for her paid collaboration with First Response, with some followers calling her out for announcing her pregnancy with an Instagram ad.
"Your pregnancy announcement is literally an ad," one user wrote, prompting the star to defend herself in the comments on her picture.
"And did you read why? Because I'm donating the $10,000 to one of you to help with your fertility treatments as I think it's a great way to help someone who is not as privileged as me," she explained.
