Mocha Uson expresses frustration at Edgar Allan Guzman

The MTRCB member feels that the actor was accusing her of things

23 Feb - MTRCB member Mocha Uson has slammed Edgar Allen Guzman for his recent criticisms against her.

According to Inquirer, Guzman himself wrote a long post earlier as a response to Uson's previous statement regarding his appearance on the show, "Ipaglaban Mo", saying that he was frustrated by Uson calling it "garbage" and "obscene".

However, Uson recently refuted his allegation on Facebook, saying that she didn't use those words to describe Guzman's acting or the said episode.

Stressing that Guzman should have watched her Facebook video first before commenting, Uson stressed that she was directing her criticism against the networks and not the show itself.

"The 'rape scenes' on the aforementioned 'Ipaglaban Mo' episode were aired without having been reviewed and approved by the MTRCB because of self-regulation by TV networks - that I disapprove of. When that 'rape scene' was aired, it triggered negative reactions from the audience, and they called my attention as a member of the MTRCB," she said.

The former Mocha Girls member was also frustrated that Guzman mentioned her past films, "Butas 2" and "Seksing Masahista" for being worse than the said episode.

"Movies and television are two different things," said Uson, adding that movies have a different platform than television, which can be watched by many.
