MMFF announces four other movies for 2017 line-up

21 Nov – The 2017 Metro Manila Film Festival (MMFF) has recently released the four other films that will be part of its line-up this year.

As reported on Inquirer, the four films are as follows:

1. "Deadma Walking", a comedy movie starring Joross Gamboa and Edgar Allan Guzman that director Julius Alfonso described as "a happy gay film".

2. "Siargao" - helmed by Paul Soriano, the movie stars Jericho Rosales, Erich Gonzales and Jasmine Curtis Smith. The movie was also the reason why Rosales had to withdraw from another MMFF project, "All of You" with Jennylyn Mercado.

3. "Ang Larawan", starring Paulo Avelino and Rachel Alejandro, the movie is a musical, which recently premiered at the 2017 Tokyo International Film Festival.

4. "Haunted Forest", a Regal Films horror production starring Jane Oineza, Jameson Blake, Maris Racal, and Jon Lucas.

The four films will be joining the four earlier films that was announced by MMFF - Dan Villegas' "All of You", the Pia Wurtzbach-Vice Ganda starrer "Gandarrapiddo: The Revenger Squad", Vic Sotto and Dawn Zulueta's comedy film, "Meant to Beh", and Coco Martin's directorial debut, "Ang Panday".
