MMFF 2019 announces last four entries
21 Oct – The Metro Manila Film Festival (MMFF) Executive Committee has recently unveiled the last four titles that will complete the eight film entries for this year's event.
As reported on Rappler, the four films include "Mindanao" - a movie starring Judy Ann Santos and Allen Dizon; and "Write About Love" a TBA Studios film starring Rocco Nacino and Yeng Constantino.
Coco Martin will also return for this year's festival with "3pol Trobol Huli Ka Balbon" with Jennylyn Mercado and Ai-Ai delas Alas.
The three films are joined by "Culion", the Iza Calzado-starrer that tells the story of a leper colony in the 1940s.
The four previously announced entries, which was screened based on submitted scripts, are:
1. "Miracle in Cell #7" (Aga Muhlach, Bela Padilla)
2. "Mission Unstapabol: The Don Identity" (Vic Sotto, Maine Mendoza)
3. "Sunod" (Carmina Villaroel, Mylene Dizon)
4. "The Mall, The Merrier" (Vice Ganda, Anne Curtis).
