"Mission Milano" is Wong Jing's 97th directorial effort

26 Sep - "Mission Milano is my 97th movie. I will soon reach 100," said Wong Jing proudly at the press conference promoting the aforementioned film in Guangzhou recently.

As reported on JD News, the prolific director, who attended the event alongside his actors Andy Lau and Huang Xiaoming recently, was all smiles when he was complimented for being a highly productive filmmaker, with at least one movie every year since he became a director.

"I wouldn't dare to accept the title model worker when Andy Lau is here. But I can say that I am not afraid of ruining my own credibility," said Wong, jokingly.

When asked how he felt working with Andy again, Wong responded, "It's a bit like being an old married couple. We have known each other for a long time. He is such a diligent worker and would always give his best."

Wong, whose movies are known to be box office hits, confessed that he is not pressured by the box office result, as long as everybody enjoys the movie.
