Mission: Impossible – Dead Reckoning Part One has finally confirmed a digital release date.
Fans of the latest instalment of the franchise, which sees Tom Cruise tackle a host of death defying stunts, only have to wait until October 11 for the UK digital release.
Meanwhile the US digital release comes just a day ahead of the UK date and will be available on October 10.
Among the bonus content included is a behind-the-scenes look at how Cruise performed one of the biggest stunts in cinema history. Fans can watch as Cruise trains in preparation to launch a motorcycle off a cliff.
"Ethan Hunt (Tom Cruise) and his IMF team embark on their most dangerous mission yet: to track down a terrifying new weapon that threatens all of humanity before it falls into the wrong hands. With the fate of the world at stake, a deadly race around the globe begins. Confronted by a mysterious, all-powerful enemy, Ethan is forced to consider that nothing can matter more than his mission - not even the lives of those he cares about most," reads the synopsis.
Previously teasing the possibility of future sequels in the franchise past Dead Reckoning Part Two, director Christopher McQuarrie told Entertainment Weekly: "Look, we're still shooting and there's any number of ways that that story could play out.
"When you're watching Mission: Impossible, and watching the team go through these adventures, you're having some sense of what it's like to make a Mission: Impossible movie.
"There's always a plan, the plan always changes, everything goes completely awry, and hopefully everything always turns out alright in the end," said McQuarrie. "But you never really fully understand, or trust where it is you're going, until you get there."
Mission: Impossible – Dead Reckoning Part One is out now in cinemas. It will be available for digital release in the US on October 10 and UK on October 11.
