17 Jul - Miriam Yeung recently confirmed that she is holding her concert at the Hong Kong Coliseum this November.
As reported on Mingpao, the singer, who appeared at the press conference to announce the upcoming show, shared that the theme of the concert is "Dream", and that she will also invite several other performers to share their own story on her stage.
However, she has yet to determine who her guest performers will be.
When asked if she will go on a diet and exercise routine to prepare for the show, Miriam smiled and shared, "After I finished promoting "Love Off the Cuff", my mother, my friends and I went on a holiday to Seoul and Osaka. We were eating noodles when the company called and told me that our application for the Hong Kong Coliseum has been approved. I immediately asked for another bowl of noodles."
"My friends asked me if I was hungry. I told them if I don't eat now, I will not have the chance to eat again for a while. Now I am trying hard to keep fit," she said, jokingly.
As to previous rumours that she was taking advantage of Andy Lau's injury to take over his Hong Kong Coliseum shows, Miriam responded helplessly, "How can this happen? I am not the only person applying for the venue. There are a lot of others who did the same. This is fate."
"Of course, I wouldn't want to take advantage of Andy. This is just luck on my part. The company told me that I haven't performed my own concert in a long time, so I should try to apply," she added.
