Katy Perry is headed back into work only six weeks after giving birth to her first child, daughter Daisy Dove, and she has the full support of her fiancée's ex, Miranda Kerr. Kerr, who was married to Orlando Bloom from 2010 through 2013, called Perry "amazing" in the comments of a recent Instagram post, and this is the kind of modern family unit we love to see.

"MUTHA MILKS is back to werk @americanidol and it’s 🍼udderly🍼 ridiculously MOO-ving already!" Perry captioned an October 8th Instagram post showing off her cow print bonanza of an outfit. "Not pictured: my pumping breaks 🙃 (shout out to @csiriano for the incredible custom costume 💅🏻✨)."

"Omg you're amazing! Love you," Kerr commented with a heart emoji.

And people in the comments were eating up this "girl power" moment, as one person wrote. "The total epitome of what a new age family could and, where possible, should aspire to be. Your children are so lucky to be surrounded by so much love and respect," one follower commented.

"This is just so refreshingly wonderful," another added. "How it should be! Women supporting women, love to see it," one person wrote.

Kerr shares her 9-year-old son Flynn with Bloom and has 1-year-old Myles and 2-year-old Hart with her husband of three years, Evan Spiegel. Bloom and Perry, who got engaged in February of 2019, welcomed their first child together in late August.

#Repost @unicef ・・・ Welcome to the world, Daisy Dove Bloom! We are honoured to introduce Goodwill Ambassadors @KatyPerry and @OrlandoBloom’s new bundle of joy.⠀ ⠀ “We are floating with love and wonder from the safe and healthy arrival of our daughter,” Katy and Orlando told us.⠀ ⠀ “But we know we’re the lucky ones and not everyone can have a birthing experience as peaceful as ours was. Communities around the world are still experiencing a shortage of healthcare workers and every eleven seconds a pregnant woman or newborn dies, mostly from preventable causes. Since COVID-19 many more newborn lives are at risk because of the increased lack of access to water, soap, vaccines and medicines that prevent diseases. As parents to a newborn, this breaks our hearts, as we empathize with struggling parents now more than ever.⠀ ⠀ “As UNICEF Goodwill Ambassadors, we know UNICEF is there, on the ground, doing whatever it takes to make sure every expecting mother has access to a trained health worker and access to quality healthcare. In celebration of the heart we know our daughter already has, we have set up a donation page to celebrate DDB’s arrival. By supporting them, you are supporting a safe start to life and reimagining a healthier world for every child. We hope your ♥️ can bloom with generosity.⠀ ⠀ Gratefully-⠀ ⠀ Katy & Orlando.”⠀ ⠀ Please tap the link in our bio to support the most precious gift: a healthy child.

When Bloom posted the announcement photo of Daisy's arrival, Kerr was quick to comment, "I'm so happy for you guys. Can't wait to meet her," adding in rainbow and heart emojis. In 2017, Kerr opened up about Perry's relationship with her son Flynn and how the pair "get along really well."

“It’s very weird," Kerr said of their new family dynamic, "but we really care for each other and we have a great relationship, so I feel very lucky.”

With love and support this strong, this family has it all figured out.
