For decades, the good ol' traditional cooler was our saving grace when it came to transporting beverages for beach days, tailgates, camping, and more-but now there's something even niftier for housing and storing your favorite boozy drinks on-the-go.

Blogger Tom of Well Done Tips fashioned the perfect travel bar out of a cheap jerry can. The nifty mini bar can house a bottle of whiskey, three old fashioned glasses, and four cans of soda. It doesn't get better than that!

While it's not the most straightforward project we've ever seen (you'll need a angle grinder and rotary tool to do this one), it's nothing an experienced DIYer couldn't accomplish over a weekend. We have a feeling this would make the perfect gift for the gearhead or whiskey drinker in your life.

When making yours, you can take it a step further and customize it with spray paint in your team's colors, or add a fun message or monogram with peel-and-stick letters. What's more, you or the recipient can use it to house all sorts of items-snacks, food, camping gear-in the garage, RV, or trunk of the car. The possibilities are endless!
