Ming Dao admits he was initially unsure of Alan Chen

27 Sep - Ming Dao recently admitted that he didn't actually approve of Alan Chen for good friend Joe Chen in the past.

As reported on UDN, the Taiwanese actor shared as much in his speech during Joe and Alan's wedding reception, saying, "To be honest, when I first met Alan, I didn't agree [to the relationship]."

The admission had Joe, who was standing next to him, elbowing Ming and bursting into laughter.

He went on to explain, "We were very afraid that Joe would be cheated on. After all, she is so rich." The statement had everybody, including Alan himself, laughed.

Ming Dao then thanked Alan for taking care of Joe, saying that Alan not only gave Joe, but everyone around her so much love.

"Love cannot change a person, but it can make us think of ways to work together," he added.
